✨Yew Cottage details✨ designing the carriage house was an absolute dream. I’m a little sad it’s over if I’m being honest haha I loved carefully picking all the materials, tones, and layouts to bring what was in my mind into reality. I’ve never designed a house start to finish before and I totally loved it! I already have a vision board going for when we build the second house on this property 🥰

It feels like spring is really here and summer is just around the corner. My greenhouse got super dirty this spring as I did all my seedlings and potted 45 dahlias in here. But everything is now in the ground which means she’s getting her post spring clean up and I’m itching to host a ladies night in here very soon 🍷☀️

You guys! The Yew Cottage is done and ready for guests! Crazy to think that it was one year ago (on the 26th to be exact) we closed on the lot. The motivation for creating this beautiful space for couples and families to enjoy their vacations came from the absolute love we have for this neighborhood. It really is the pacific northwest epitomised. A 2 minute walk to the ocean 🌊, 15 minute walk to Seal Bay Nature park (which is basically my childhood fern gully dreams on a massive scale🌿). Eagle nesting trees right out the kitchen windows 🦅, and curious seals barking to each other and popping out of the water to watch you 🦭. I wanted to share my love of this place with you by creating this beautiful and cozy cottage that feels like a luxury retreat.

Seems crazy to think back to what seems like a blink when me and @comoxbuilders were standing in a giant blackberry bush brainstorming ideas, and now here she is! If you'd like to stay here you'll find the link in my bio. The summer is already quite booked so don't wait if you want to come in summer months! ☀️

My Mother’s Day weekend was spent exactly where

My Mother’s Day weekend was spent exactly where I am happiest, doing landscaping projects and playing in the dirt with my little crew. All of us are exhausted but man did we move a lot of earth this weekend 💪 I hope you all had a beautiful Mother’s Day and told your mothers or mother figures how much you appreciate them. And to my mil @krisyewchuk who’s also one of my bffs happy Mother’s Day I am so grateful for you 💛
