A Bright and Cheerful Easter Tablescape, Complete with Foraged Florals and Your Child’s Crafting

04/09/2020

There is something so creatively satisfying about putting together a tablescape. Gathering with friends and family around a beautiful table is something I am looking forward to when it is safe again. However, even if we are under quarantine I still wanted to do one as we will be having a lovely Easter dinner with our little babes!

To I set the table with a grey linen table cloth I’ve had for years. I just like how the soft grey makes everything you put on it pop. I then used some gold chargers (plastic and cheap, I’ve been on the hunt for some decent ones but these will have to do for now) and then set the table with our everyday white dishes from Ikea.

I absolutely adore our matte gold Clio cutlery I got for Christmas from The Cross so I was excited to finally style them!

I used some beautiful prayer bead to add a little interest down the centre of the table I got from Ash and Hart Floral and a cute white porcelain bunny and an egg I picked up from Homesense a few years ago.

I then added my foraged cherry blossom tree clippings to a cake stand and placed some eggs and a little nest in the middle. I sprinkled some more blossoms around the table to add some more pink pops!

Lastly I rolled up napkins (also from the Cross- These are the Jillian and Tori collaboration ones) and made them look like little bunny ears. I placed each of the kid’s painted eggs in their place setting along with their adorable wooden place setting tags from Sugar Crush Co.

I hope you all have a safe and happy Easter with your families. Thank you for being here,

xo
